Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari filed an email complaint against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday night, citing her threat to arrest eight BJP politicians in revenge for the detention of four party MLAs. The complaint was sent to the Hare Street police station.

Based on his accusation, Adhikari has asked the police to file a formal report. "Her threats should be dealt with specifically under certain provisions of the Indian Penal Code. I've filed a complaint with the police station on Hare Street. However, they refuse to file a case. I'll relocate the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) court in three days. The BJP leader declared, "Later, if necessary, I will approach the Supreme Court and the Calcutta High Court."

"Mamata Banerjee's bold remarks will be her last of those kind. As the head of the opposition, I will battle to put an end to this kind of culture," Adhikari declared on Saturday.

Adhikari had announced on Thursday that he would file a police complaint following Mamata's threat to arrest eight BJP members during a meeting with Trinamul workers at Netaji Indoor Stadium as payback for the central agencies' arrest of four Trinamul MLAs.

Four of our MLAs are in jail. By such actions, they hope to lower our number (of MLAs). We promise on behalf of our party to arrest eight of their (BJP) members if they imprison four of our MLAs, Mamata stated.

In relation to the purported cash-for-schoolteachers job scandal, former education minister Partha Chatterjee, Trinamul MLA from Burwan Jiban Krishna Saha in Murshidabad, and MLA from Palashipara in Nadia, Manik Bhattacharya, are all behind bars. Jyotipriya Mallick, a former minister of food and now the minister of forests, is being held in relation to the PDS scandal. Trinamul leader Anubrata Mondal is being held at the Tihar jail in Delhi because to his suspected involvement in the smuggling of livestock.

As a political figurehead, the head of West Bengal's Ministry of Home Affairs and the state's honorable chief minister, Adhikari wrote in his complaint that "when such person delivers a speech of such provocative nature indicative towards me and the members of my political party criminally intimidating us with dire consequences and false charges leading to capital punishment under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (murder)," it is criminally concerning."

Given these conditions, I kindly ask your office to file a formal complaint (FIR) against the aforementioned accused individuals in order to bring these criminals to justice. Please use this letter of complaint as a basis for filing a formal complaint," the complaint said.

Adhikari's complaint, according to Trinamul authorities, was merely a "panic reaction."

Suvendu Adhikari is reacting hysterically since he is aware that he is being investigated for multiple crimes. In connection with scams like Saradha and Narada, the CBI need to detain him first, according to Kunal Ghosh of Trinamul.
