In the teaser for the new romance drama film This Is Me...Now: A Love Story on Amazon Prime Video, singer-actress Jennifer Lopez portrays a hopeless romantic navigating her turbulent life while facing allegations of being a liar and a sex addict.

Ben Affleck, an actor, is also featured in the two minutes and twenty-seven-second video that the streamer posted on Tuesday. Jennifer is married to the actor. The movie, which is being hailed as "a genre-bending Amazon original that showcases the singer's journey to love through her own eyes," seems to provide insight into Jennifer's personal romantic history, including her several marriages, engagements, and extramarital romances.

"I've discovered the hard way that not all love stories end happily," Jennifer's character says, tossing a picture into the flames in the teaser. The 54-year-old is shown doing a variety of things, such as attending therapy sessions, having love on a glass floor, working in a factory, and enjoying her own wedding, which her friends believe won't last.

Her character first denies her friends' ridiculous theory that she may be a sex addict, but later on, she is shown going to a session specifically designed for those with such addictions, where she admits that she hasn't been able to sleep well since she was a little kid.

Jennifer's character strangely separates herself from the guy who makes her feel comfortable, despite her desire to be a woman in love.

Released concurrently with Jennifer's first studio album in ten years, the official summary of Dave Meyers's film reads, "This Is Me.Right now: Jennifer Lopez's A Love Story is unlike anything you've ever seen. A narrative-driven cinematic voyage steeped in mythical storytelling and personal healing has been skillfully produced by Jennifer."

The story is further developed by Jennifer's vocal performance on the title track, which also acts as the background music.

The movie, which was co-written by Jennifer and Matt Walton, also stars Fat Joe, Hough, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, and Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Additionally, Jennifer posted the teaser on Instagram along with a note about her third studio album, This Is Me... Then, which was released in late 2002 and was dedicated to Ben.
