The cast of director Ryan Coogler's next supernatural horror thriller has been expanded to include "Loki" actress Wunmi Mosaku.

Michael B. Jordan, a Hollywood celebrity and longtime collaborator of director Ryan Coogler, is starring in the picture, which has no title yet, according to entertainment news source The Hollywood Reporter.


The film is set in the South during the Jim Crow era, and the premise revolves around vampires and other supernatural Southern customs, however specifics have not been revealed.

Actors Jack O'Connell and Delroy Lindo are also included in the cast.

Through his production business Proximity Media, Coogler is both the screenwriter and the producer of the film. Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler are also producing.

The movie will begin shooting in New Orleans later this month, with a March 7, 2025, US release date set.

The 37-year-old Mosaku is most recognized for his role as Hunter B-15 in the first two seasons of Tom Hiddleston's Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series "Loki".

She has also appeared in films such Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as television series including Black Mirror, The End of the F***ing World, and Luther.
