On October 3, at the Asian Games 2023, Indian cricket star Yashasvi Jaiswal broke Shubman Gill's record for the quickest century by an Indian in T20Is.
In India's quarterfinal encounter against Nepal, Jaiswal, who is only 21 years old, produced a thunderous 48-ball century. Gill's prior mark of 54 balls, set in 2021 against New Zealand, was surpassed by him.
Jaiswal's century, which included 12 fours and four sixes, contributed to India scoring 210/3 in the allotted 20 overs. Jaiswal was chosen Man of the Match as India ultimately defeated Pakistan by 150 runs.

Jaiswal's century, which broke the record, is evidence of his extraordinary talent and promise. One of the most intriguing young batters in the world, he will undoubtedly have a significant impact on India in the years to come.
