The latest Suman Maitra-directed movie Abar Awronne Din Ratri stars Paayel Sarkar, Rupsha Mukhopadhyay, and Alivia Sarkar. Four female travel bloggers' coming-of-age tale is told in Abar Awronne Din Ratri. Soul — The Sky Lounge recently hosted the premiere of the movie's trailer. "Abar Awronne Din Ratri's trailer provides an insight into the poignant journey of four characters and the captivating landscape of Dooars, where their story takes place," stated director Suman Maitra.

The main themes of Abar Awronne Din Ratri include companionship, travel, enjoyment, and feelings. We took wintertime photos in the picturesque locations of Dooars. Nandini, the name of my character, adores life's celebrations. She is, yet, trapped in a life-complication at the same time. I had a great time working with the group, especially our director Suman Maitra. We previously completed Shimanto, a very different kind of cinema. Abar Awronne Din Ratri is Shimanto's complete opposite. Thus demonstrating his versatility as a craftsman. Working with him and the entire unit is always enjoyable," Paayel remarked.

In the movie, Nandini guides the group as they move about to get the finest shots while filming the vlog in the heart of the jungle. Where eternity resonates, the stillness of the jungle and unguarded moments of existence are captured. Thoughts and aspects of life intersect at a crossroads as the movie shows glimpses of song and dance, mind games, tribal dancing, and brilliant, colorful hues of life. Nandini comes full circle in life, standing before her history.

"I was inspired by Satyajit Ray's film Aronner Din Ratri, which was based on the novel by Sunil Gangopadhyay. I attempted to retell a story that is all mine, and I had no desire to offend the original author or legend, nor to offend the feelings and sentiments of the esteemed families and Bengali people associated with the movie. There is no relationship between Abar Awronne Din Ratri (Forest Revisited) and the original. It's the adolescent journey of female travel vloggers. I make travelogue films. There are aspects of a road trip, forest scenes, quiet in the hills, and a range of character expressions in the movie. According to Suman, Abar Awronne Din Ratri is about girls who wish to travel, explore, and view the world from a fresh perspective. It also highlights how adventure, excitement, fun, music, and songs have revitalized their personal and professional life. On April 5, the movie opens.
