Dhanush Drops Cryptic Poster: DD3 - A Beach, Two Letters, and a Starry Promise

Actor-director Dhanush has revealed a concept poster for his upcoming third film, DD3, on X (previously Twitter).

Two stray pieces of paper are scattered on a yellow park bench on a beach in the poster. The vast ocean and starry horizon blend together seamlessly in the background.

In addition to the setting, which alludes to a love tale, the teaser poster includes a date. This is going to be Dhanush's third film as director, as indicated by the two crescent moons that resemble the letters D and the number 3.

Although the film's title and cast are still unknown, the poster suggests that an official announcement is probably coming on December 24, 2023.

It is evident from the poster's logo in the upper left corner that Wunderbar Films, Dhanush's production company, will produce the movie.

Dhanush's second film project as a director was just wrapped up. He thanked the entire cast and crew of the film, D50, on X. "My heartfelt gratitude to the entire cast and crew. On December 15, the 40-year-old actor wrote, "A huge thank you to Kalanithi Maran sir and Sun Pictures for supporting my vision.

In 2017, Dhanush made his feature film directing debut with the comedy Pa Paandi. In the movie, a retired stunt master sets out on a quest to track down his long-lost love.

Next, Dhanush will appear with Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Sundeep Kishan in Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller. In January 2024, on Pongal, the movie is scheduled to open in theaters.
