The Congress referred to the Modi administration as the "paper leak government" shortly after UGC-NET was canceled on Wednesday, and they questioned whether the education minister would accept accountability at that point.

In addition, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the government for allegedly failing the NEET medical entrance exam and questioned when Prime Minister Narendra Modi would hold the "NEET pareeksha pe charcha."

Following the Education Ministry's announcement to cancel UGC-NET, Congresswoman Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the administration and demanded that accountability be addressed.

"Narendra Modi ji, you discuss exams a lot, but when will you hold 'NEET pareeksha pe charcha'," Kharge wrote in a Hindi post on X. The UGC-NET exam cancellation is a testament to the perseverance of thousands of students, he declared. "This is the defeat of Modi government's arrogance due to which they made a despicable attempt to trample the future of our youth," he stated.

According to Kharge, the Union Minister of Education initially claims that no NEET paper was leaked; but, once the education mafia was apprehended in Bihar, Gujarat, and Haryana, the Minister "accounts that some scam" had occurred.

He inquired, "When will the NEET exam be cancelled?"

"Modi ji, take responsibility to stop your government's rigging and paper leak in NEET exam too," Kharge stated.

The Congress said that the Modi administration is tampering with young people's future.

"The UGC-NET exam was administered yesterday in a number of the nation's cities. The exam for today was canceled due to possible paper leakage. The UGC-NET paper and the NEET paper were both leaked. The party claimed on X that the Modi administration had devolved into a "paper leak government."

Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary of the Congress, also said that the youth are harmed by the "corruption and laxity" of the BJP government.

"Fearing anomalies, the NET exam scheduled for June 18th has also been postponed following the discovery of the NEET exam scam. Will accountability be adjusted at this time? Will the Minister of Education accept accountability for this negligence?" Vadra posted a question in Hindi.

Late on Wednesday night, the Union Education Ministry issued an order to annul the UGC-NET due to reports that the exam's integrity had been compromised.
