Disha Patani Celebrates Jackie Chan’s 70th Birthday with Heartfelt Tribute
A Nostalgic Look Back at 'Kung Fu Yoga' Days and Chan's Legendary Career
On April 7, actress Disha Patani wished her Kung Fu Yoga co-star Jackie Chan a happy 70th birthday, referring to him as a "living legend" and a "superhero."
"At seventy years old. Disha wished Chan a happy birthday by captioning a flashback photo on her Instagram stories with the words, "Happy b'day to my superhero and the living legend Taguu."
On the set of Kung Fu Yoga, Disha and Jackie Chan are seen feeding horses in the old picture. In the photo, Chan is wearing a blue pullover, while Disha is wearing a green puffer jacket.
Kung Fu Yoga is a 2017 Chinese action adventure comedy film directed by Stanley Tong. It is a follow-up to Tong's fantasy-adventure movie The Myth from 2005. Chan plays archeologist Jack again in Kung Fu Yoga, and Disha plays Ashmita, an Indian princess. Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur have significant roles in the movie as well.
Disha also shared an early photo of Chan on her Instagram account. The Yodha actress added, "Thank you for making our childhood so memorable," next to the photo.
Chan, an actor, director, writer, producer, martial artist, and honorary Oscar winner, is renowned for his inventive stunts and acrobatic fighting style, which he usually does on his own. He began his acting career in the 1960s and has since starred in over 150 motion pictures. Chan is presently engaged on several projects, such as Project P, New Police Story 2, and Legend.
As a dedicated kickboxer, Disha frequently shares pictures and videos from her practise sessions on social media.
