'Fly Me to the Moon' Trailer Reveals Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum's Romcom Space Adventure
Sony and Apple Unveil Whimsical Spin on 1960s Space Race Directed by Greg Berlanti
The first trailer for Fly Me to the Moon, which was made available by Sony and Apple on Monday, features Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum staging a fictitious moon landing.
The romantic comedy, directed by Greg Berlanti of Riverdale, is a fanciful take on the space competition of the 1960s. In addition to serving as the movie's producer, Johansson plays a cunning marketing executive.
The two-minute, 32-second teaser, which is set in 1969, depicts Johansson's character Kelly Jones attempting to plan a fictitious moon landing as public interest in the moon mission is waning. Tatum's Cole Davis, a NASA executive, does everything in his power to keep the mission's public support.

The teaser goes on to depict Jones using methods similar to those employed in film productions, like hiring stunt doubles for a backup lunar landing in the event that the real landing doesn't go through. Each team member exceeds their limits and makes significant sacrifices to guarantee the mission's success, despite the moral and credibility issues this raises.

Fly Me to the Moon also stars Woody Harrelson, Jim Rash, Ray Romano, Anna Garcia, Donald Elise Watkins, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Nick Dillenburg, Christian Zuber, and Woody Harrelson in addition to Johansson and Tatum.
