Hrishikesh Kanitkar, the head coach of the India U-19 squad, is optimistic that a few players from the 2024 class may eventually play for the national team.

Even though Australia defeated the record five-time winners by 79 runs on Sunday, the Indian colts secured their sixth straight World Cup final participation. Players like as captain Uday Saharan, Musheer Khan, Saumy Pandey, and Sachin Dhas were outstanding throughout the competition.

Without a doubt, India has a very bright future. Numerous individuals have turned up outstanding performances both as a bowling and batting team.

"They have demonstrated maturity in trying circumstances, which is encouraging for Indian cricket," Kanitkar said. "A few players always stand up, whether it's for the Indian team or the IPL.

Kanitkar said, "I'm sure there will be a couple, but there is great competition back home."

Members of the squad Aravelly Avanish and Arshin Kulkarni entered the U-19 Cup with contracts to play in the Indian Premier League.
