Pictures of Lily Collins, who portrays the title character in the romantic comedy series Emily in Paris, together with a table-read draft of the first episode of the new season, which was written by Grant Sloss and directed by Andy Fleming, have been released by Netflix as a tease for the upcoming season.

The plot of Darren Star's film Emily in Paris centers on the life of marketing professional Emily Cooper, who is sent to Paris in order to provide a French company an American viewpoint. But as she attempts to adapt to Parisian culture, she encounters severe cultural differences and challenges in her friendships, work, and romantic relationships.
The fourth season of the program will continue where the previous one left off, with Emily deciding to pursue a romantic connection with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), a man residing in London, while also keeping her friendship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
Lily gave some spoilers for the next season in an introduction video that Netflix had already released. In the video, the British-American actress said, "Emily is going to have to decide if everything she has ever wanted is really what she needs."
She ends by saying, "So, don't be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday," giving away that Emily could be in Italy for the next season.
