Netherlands cricket team arrives in Kolkata ahead of World Cup match against Bangladesh
Team focused on gaining experience despite low-key match expected to draw a small crowd
On Thursday night, the cricket team from the Netherlands arrived in the city. against Saturday, they take against Bangladesh at the Eden.
How large of a crowd this low-key World Cup match draws is yet to be determined. Also, Bangladesh could get stronger support regardless of the outcome.
A few Dutch students who were also artists were in the city and participated in the Behala Nutan Dal Puja pandal.
However, Martyna Pekala and Benjamin Pompe will not be present at the Eden on Saturday after they departed the city earlier this week.
