Noida Police Arrest Five for Allegedly Supplying Snakes and Venom to Rave Parties Hosted by Social Media Celebrity Elvish Yadav

For allegedly providing snakes and their venom to rave parties hosted by social media celebrity and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav, Noida police on Friday detained five individuals under the Wildlife Protection Act.

An FIR against six individuals, including Yadav, was filed, according to the police.

Six people are in custody, while Yadav is evading capture. Nine snakes—including five cobras—and snake venom were found on the accused. Yadav was known to host rave parties at which snake venom was served for fun, according to a police officer.

Narayan, Jayakaran, Ravinath, Titunath, and Rahul have been named as the individuals that were detained. The defendant admitted to police that Yadav used to film movies with snakes and upload them to YouTube and Instagram, and that rave events were hosted at a number of hotels and farmhouses in the nation's capital and surrounding regions.

People who went to such rave events drank snake venom and other illegal substances. The policeman said that a large number of foreign visitors attended the events.

In a video he shared on social media, Yadav refuted all of the accusations. The five were taken into custody when police stormed a rave party at a Noida hotel, after a complaint from an animal protection NGO headed by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi.
