Pulisic urges Milan to improve Champions League performance after dismal start

Following Wednesday's 3-0 loss to PSG, AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic has urged his club to improve on their dismal Champions League performance. The seven-time champion Milan has lost at Parc des Princes and is now bottom of Group F with two points. Milan has not scored in five of their last six games in the campaign. They are in a challenging group with Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund. "We must concentrate on the next match. We simply need to put together a few victories to know we're not out of it yet," Pulisic said to CBS Sports. "We've had some tough games in some tough stadiums but that's no excuse, we need to turn it around and we need to win." The US captain, Pulisic, 25, moved to Milan from Chelsea in the Premier League in July. "We simply need to keep working; the onus is on us. It's just not flowing right now, I suppose, but it will eventually," he said. "I believe we simply need to be vigilant. I believe the lesson is that it doesn't feel like a game we should lose 3-0. For the most part, we were in the game, but we simply let it get away from us. "We're a confident group of men, so we'll be OK moving ahead. We can bounce back because we have another game in a few days, which is a benefit of this calendar." The Rossoneri's next Serie A match comes on Sunday against Napoli, then on November 4 they face Udinese. Legendary Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi was harsh in his Gazzetta dello Sport post-match piece. "There was no relationship between midfield and defense or between attack and midfield. Sacchi, 77, remarked, "Milan was not a team; they were not a collective."
