Rahul Gandhi Criticizes PM Modi Over NEET-PG Postponement, Claims Education System is in Ruins

In response to the NEET-PG postponement, Congressman Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, calling it "another unfortunate example that the education system has been ruined".

In response to recent claims over the validity of some competitive exams, the Union Health Ministry announced on Saturday that it has chosen to postpone the NEET-PG entrance exam, which was originally set to take place on June 23, as a "precautionary measure".

Gandhi wrote in Hindi on 'X', "NEET-PG has also been delayed. This is just one more sad instance of how Narendra Modi's administration has destroyed the educational sector." He claimed that under the BJP's administration, students are compelled to fight the government in order to save their future rather than advancing their professions via education."Now it is clear -- Modi, who used to silently watch the spectacle every time -- is completely helpless in front of the paper leak racket and education mafia," the former head of the Congress stated. "The greatest danger to kids' futures is the inept government of Narendra Modi. We must protect the nation's future from it," he continued.

Amidst criticism regarding purported anomalies in competitive examinations, the Center removed National Testing Agency (NTA) Director General Subodh Singh on Saturday and constituted a seven-member committee led by former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan to examine the organization's operations and suggest changes to exams.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and logistical problems, the June edition of the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC-NET) was postponed on Friday. UGC-NET was canceled on Wednesday as a result of reports that the integrity of the test had been compromised.

The NTA released the results of the NEET-UG medical entrance test on June 4. Opposition parties have also accused the exam of having anomalies. CBI is in charge of looking into the purported anomalies in this exam.
