Shah Rukh Khan Shares Festive "Dunki" Posters for Diwali
Actor Emphasizes the Importance of Family and Togetherness
To commemorate Diwali, Shah Rukh Khan has released two new posters for his forthcoming movie Dunki, which stars Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochhar, Vicky Kaushal, and Anil Grover.
"It's Diwali or the New Year, bina aisi family ke, kaise hogi?" Alongside the posters, Shah Rukh penned a message stressing the value of family unity and sticking by them through good times and bad.
He joked at the conclusion of his message about how the foundation of Dunki's universe is community. Saath chalne, rukne, aur saath hi celebration karne mein hai, asli maza toh. "Poor duniya hai, ullu de patthe ki dunki ki!"

In the first poster, Shah Rukh can be seen riding a scooter with Taapsee and Vikram’s Buggu pillion-riding. Anil wears a garland of notes and rides alongside the trio on a bicycle. “Apno ke saath manaye Diwali,” reads the tagline of the poster.
The second poster shows the entire cast of Dunki posing in front of a blackboard. Shah Rukh sports an orange kurta coupled with olive cargo pants, while Taapsee dons a pink-and-beige printed salwar suit. Vicky sports a yellow-and-grey chequered shirt, Vikram a green printed kurta and Anil a light yellow kurta and pants coupled with a sweater vest.
Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon, the Hirani-directed film is slated to arrive in cinemas this Christmas.
