The creators of the Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon-led heist comedy Crew have announced on social media that the film has crossed the Rs 100-crore threshold at the global box office on its ninth day of release.

With an Instagram photo of the film poster, Balaji Motion Pictures said, "That's how we roll Flying into the 100 crore club with our Crew!" Kriti Sanon and Tabu also posted the news on their accounts.

This year, five Bollywood films have earned more than Rs 100 crore globally, including Crew. Fighter (Rs 358.89 crore), Shaitaan (Rs 201.65 crore), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (Rs 141.29 crore), and Article 370 (Rs 104.6 crore) are the other films that have accomplished this feat.

Under the direction of Rajesh A. Krishnan, Crew made Rs 9.25 crore nett on its first day of sales. The first week's revenue for the heist comedy was Rs 43.75 crore nett, with additional figures of Rs 3.75 crore nett on Friday and Rs 5.25 crore nett on Saturday. It increased its revenues by an additional Rs 5.75 crore nett on Sunday, bringing the total amount collected domestically to Rs 58.54 crore nett.

The Hollywood hit Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which has already made Rs 72.25 crore nett in India, will be a fierce rival for Crew. After earning Rs 13.25 crore nett upon opening, the monsterverse film went on to earn Rs 57.75 crore nett in its first week of release. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire made Rs 3 crore nett on Friday, Rs 5.25 crore nett on Saturday, and Rs 6.25 crore nett on Sunday during its second week of release.

A total of USD 361 million has been made from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, with USD 135 million coming from North America and USD 226 from outside countries.
