23-year-old girl in Malda commits suicide, accuses youth of betrayal in Facebook post
The victim's family members claimed that on Monday evening she went to the youth’s place. There, she was physically and mentally abused by him and his family members
Tuesday marked the suicide of a 23-year-old Malda resident. She left behind a 17-page statement on social media in which she accused a young person of betraying her after a protracted relationship, as well as his family.
On Wednesday, Jharkhand police took the young person into custody.
According to sources, the girl claimed to have had a connection with the 24-year-old male in a letter and some photos that she had uploaded online before killing herself.
But lately, he has avoided me and even hesitated to say yes when I proposed to him. He said he would marry me in November when I asked him. The girl said on Facebook, "But later, I found out that he had already registered his marriage with another woman," before taking her own life.
Relatives of hers said that she visited the youngster on Monday night. There, he and his family members mistreated her both physically and emotionally.
She did this action because she was unable to take any more insults or treachery. A relative of the girl said, "We want them all to be included in the book. "Yesterday (Tuesday), they filed a complaint with the police against the youth and his family," said the individual.
The cops started looking into the allegation.
The young person was taken into custody on Wednesday night in Jharkhand.
"Our group took him into custody in Jharkhand. He will appear in court on Thursday after being charged with aiding and abetting the suicide, according to a police officer.
