In the wake of unverified rumors that he was hospitalized for an angioplasty that went viral on social media, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo from Saturday's ISPL 2024 final with son Abhishek Bachchan and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
The 81-year-old actor posted a picture of the trio conversing at Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane on Instagram with the caption, "What a humbling experience this evening at the ISPL FINALS, to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN... and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about Cricket."
The photo shows Sachin being talked to with rapt attention by Amitabh and Abhishek while they sit in the stands.
The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) final of 2024 featured a match between Majhi Mumbai and the Tigers of Kolkata. After defeating Majhi Mumbai in the Twenty20 match, Tigers of Kolkata secured the title.
On Friday, word spread that Amitabh had been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, allegedly for an angioplasty. Nevertheless, the hospital administration did not provide any confirmation.
Regarding his career, Amitabh will next be seen with Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone in Kalki 2898 AD. In development for him are Section 84, a Hindi version of The Intern, and Vettaiyan, in which Rajinikanth co-stars.
