Dhanush Unveils Intense First-Look Poster of 50th Film 'Raayan'
Actor's Directorial Project Promises Thrilling Action and Suspense
In the first-look poster for his 50th film Raayan, Dhanush seems to be becoming bald, growing a moustache, and staring intently into the camera while wearing a blood-stained apron.
The poster, which the actor unveiled on Monday, was made available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and English. The 40-year-old actor added, "RAAYAN #D50 @sunpictures @arrahman," next to the posters.
Dhanush's character is shown on the poster holding a steel sword and facing a food truck with two other figures on it. With his hands clenched, the actor faces the camera.
Starring alongside Nithya Menen, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, and Kalidas Jayaram is Raayan, which was once known as D50. This is the actor's second directing endeavor after the release of Pa Paandi in 2017.
Raayan, which is being produced by Sun Pictures, will be on sale in theaters later this year. Om Prakash handled the cinematography for the movie, while AR Rahman wrote the music.
The last film Dhanush appeared in was Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran and released on January 12 in Hindi and January 25 in Telugu. You may see the movie right now on Amazon Prime Video.
