Ed Sheeran Recreates Shah Rukh Khan's Iconic Pose in Mumbai Meet-Up
Singer-Songwriter Bonds with Bollywood Stars Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan
In a video he posted on social media, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran imitated Shah Rukh Khan's famous arms-stretched gesture while meeting the actor and filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder in Mumbai on Wednesday.
"We are shaped like this. Embracing one another in love. Sheeran made reference to his 2017 hit song Shape of You in the subtitles of the video featuring him and Shah Rukh. The background music was Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om, a 2007 film starring Shah Rukh and Farah.
While Sheeran was dressed in a black pant suit and a tie-dyed full-sleeve t-shirt, Shah Rukh was seen in the video sporting a newspaper-print shirt and torn pants.
Director Farah Khan Kunder wrote, "If this was the last thing I directed, I'll die happy ????♥️," shortly after the post was shared.

The video featured a group photo of Sheeran, Shah Rukh, and Farah at the end, with Farah purportedly serving as their host at her home. "When you get to helm Shahrukh Khan and Ed Sheeran, what do you get? The 59-year-old director and choreographer remarked, "Of course, #SherKhan ????," next to the video.

In another photo that Farah and Sheeran uploaded, the two of them are seen lounging on a couch. "Unwind with the cutest man ever.. @teddysphotos ♥️," the Happy New Year director wrote as the caption for her image.
Sheeran also made contact with singer-composer Darshan Raval following his meetings with Shah Rukh and Farah. Darshan had previously performed a rendition of Sheeran's song Photograph from 2015, combined with Ye Baarish from 2017.

On March 16, Sheeran will play at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Race Course as part of his "+ - = ÷ x Tour," also known as The Mathematics Tour.
Sheeran is currently on his fourth tour, the "+ - = ÷ x Tour." With 89 performances spread over three continents, the tour is slated to conclude in Larnaca, Cyprus, on September 8, 2022, after beginning in Dublin, Ireland, on April 23, 2022.
