There will be two parts to the nomination announcement. At 5:30 am PT (7 pm IST), the first wave of nominations will be revealed; the second wave will follow at 5:41 am PT (7:11 pm IST). The latter will see the announcement of the winners for Best Picture, Best Director, and the major acting categories.

The Academy will go on with the final voting round from February 22 to February 27 after Tuesday's release of nominees. The 96th Academy Awards will be handed on March 10 at the event. Jimmy Kimmel will serve as the host for the main event.
