The Alipurduar MLA Suman Kanjilal, who left the BJP in 2022 to join Trinamul, will lead the Assembly's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) going forward.

"After Krishna Kalyani, they (Trinamul) found another turncoat to sit on the key chair and turn a blind eye to the government's activities," said BJP Rajya Sabha MP Samik Bhattacharya.
