Tamil Director's Dream Come True: Clint Eastwood to Watch His Film Jigarthanda Double X

Tamil director Kartik Subbaraj is overjoyed that Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood plans to watch his most recent film, Jigarthanda Double X.

This happened after moviegoers contacted Eastwood on X, the former Twitter, and his team responded with a touching message.

"Dear @RealTheClint," a movie enthusiast tweeted to Clint Eastwood's official Twitter page We are Native Americans. We produced Jigarthanda Double X, a Tamil film. You can watch it on Netflix. During the entire film, we have paid a wonderful homage to you. We created a few animated scenes featuring you when you were younger. Kindly watch it when you have a moment."

Fans and the cast and crew of the movie were ecstatic when Clint's team replied, saying, "Hey. Clint acknowledges that he has heard of this movie and promises to watch it after his new film is finished. Second juror. I'm grateful.

After discovering that Clint Eastwood had acknowledged him, Kartik Subbaraj took to Twitter to share his ecstatic reaction. "Woww..... Feeling So Surreal!!" he wrote. Not only did Subbaraj thank Eastwood, but so did the movie's leading actors, Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah. The thought-provoking story of Jigarthanda Double X, the follow-up to Subbaraj's Jigarthanda (2014), questions the widespread exploitation of natural resources by those in positions of power. With important roles played by Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Naveen Chandra, and Ilavarasu, the film honors not only Eastwood but also Satyajit Ray and Rajinikanth.
