Aamir Khan, who turned 59 yesterday, engaged with his followers on Instagram during a live session. He also fulfilled a request of mine by responding to a query that has been on many of our thoughts.

"Will we ever get to see the three Khans share screen space in future, like we recently saw at an event in Jamnagar?" I asked Aamir, who was taking questions from the audience.

And Aamir's response was a pat! "Even I believe we ought to collaborate on a movie." Salman, Shah Rukh, and I were thinking when we were together (in Jamnagar) that we ought to work together on a movie for our fans. We thought of this, so let's see what transpires. I hope we will definitely proceed with it if a strong script is supplied. The Lagaan actor remarked, "I think all three of us are really eager to work with one other.

In response to a second fan's question, Aamir disclosed that director Rajkumar Santoshi is working on a script for the follow-up to the 1994 comedy Andaz Apna Apna, which starred Aamir, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor. The Dangal actor expressed his happiness that Santoshi has started the creative process, even if the project is still in its early stages. He hopes that both the cast and the audiences will find the project enjoyable.

In addition to providing a platform for birthday wishes to be sent, Thursday's live session gave Aamir the chance to make these momentous announcements, which had fans giddy with anticipation.

Aamir revealed during the conversation that he was filming Sitaare Zameen Par, his latest production, and that it was a working birthday for him. The comedy-drama is expected to bring the actor-director back together with Darsheel Safary, who he costarred with in Taare Zameen Par. Sitaare Zameen Par will be released later this year, according to Aamir.

Aamir attempted repeatedly during the session to get actor Ravi Kishan to join the Instagram live, but he was unable to do so because of technical difficulties. The most recent movie in which Ravi Kishan appeared was Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies, which Aamir, Rao, and Jyoti Deshpande co-produced. Aamir said to have been deeply moved by Laapataa Ladies' climax.
